I have been lurking here for awhile and now after a long search I finally found my unicorn. A one owner 97 Mark VIII LSC. This is the first Lincoln but not my first 4V mod motor. My previous car was a 03 Mustang GT that had a 4V 5.4 and a KB supercharger. Looking to build the LSC into a decent driver with minor motor work. So I am looking for advise on where to start. Seems like you guys have a solid forum here and I am excited to be a part of it.

Welcome! :)

Start with the basic maintenance. Air, oil, fuel, spark,...

Then the drivetrain; J-mod the tranny, get rid of the 2-piece driveshaft, 4.10s with locking differential, 3500 or higher stall converter.

Then put it all together with a tune.

Kirk, Free beer, and so much more. You'll have to make it out next year.

As for the shirt, it seems to have cleaned up nicely. I was almost disappointed.

Sorry to hear you didn't get any of the coffee stout, Bryan. I'm sure glad it was popular though. Not a single bottle came home with me. :)

That's what I get for not staying at the same hotel :( Oh well there's always next year... :D

Wait!!?? There was an exploding keg!? How did I miss that? Also...I dont think Sharon liked your beer...or maybe she didn't like me drinking it.
