Just bought this car last night, 97 LSC. On the drive in I noticed the message center was blank. I noticed a hot electric smell. All of a sudden the stereo shut down and so did the fuel gauge. I panicked pulled over shut the car down and started it back up, still nothing. Checked all the fuses under the dash, all to appear fine. It's just really discerning, I've always loved these cars I finally bought one now this happens. Car has 99000 original miles. Are these cars a electrical nightmare? I've had more town cars then I can count on both hands and never had any electrical issues like this. Please help.
