Wow that is unacceptable. Then again i heard nothing but horror stories with the ford 6.0 Diesel. Did you have it chipped for more power? Warranty work?

Bare stock....yes, it is warranty.

Bud, IMHO you need to be truck shopping. Our fleet has shown mixed results with the 6.0L diesels. The good ones are good but others are nothing but problems. It would not surprise me if that one starts having other issues afterwards.
