OBDII Location on Gen II

Can someone please point me to a thread where I can locate the connector to hook up an OBDII scanner. I recently got one as present. But I'm not sure where the connector is located on the car. Is it in the engine compartment or under the dash somewhere?

Should be under the dash(not beind anything). I think they are supposed to be within 6 inches of the steering column.

It should be on the drivers side, under the dashboard, between the steering column and the driver's door, without any cover.

Yep, it's part of the ODB-II standard to be located under the dash on the drivers side. Guess that's where the 6 inch rule comes from.
