That is an amazing loss for the Yankees. In the New York radio broadcasts, they are referring to it as "The Collapse."
We New Yorkers congratulate Boston for the amazing comeback.
Even as far away as here in Queens last night, you could hear the cries of Yankee players as they were being spanked in the Bronx by an unhappy George Steinbrenner.

Can't win them all, it was a good play off series though.
The Yankees have won 26 and competed in 39 World Series. Last time they won was 2000.
The Red Sox have won 5 and now will compete in 11 World Series. Last time they won was in 1918.

The past is the past. I'm glad we have a chance for our 6th world title right now, and there was no better way in the world to gain that chance, but down 3-0 and to come back and show those Yankee clowns and their clown fans who is who's daddy.

Steve, have you ever been to a Yankees / Red Sox game at Yankee staduim? I went to one on bat day when I was a kid and cracked some clown red sox fan in the head and I was wondering if it was you. If so that would explain a lot. :+

I've been to 2 games so far at Yankee stadium, but no, I haven't been cracked in the head yet. It's amazing though how quiet those Yankee fans get when they are getting shelled by the Red Sox. Last year when I went, we beat down Pettite pretty bad. I forget who pitched for the Sox that day.
