oil pan removal

I have 2 questions on removing the oil pan

1) How to remove the oil level sensor? Does it just pull out?

2) 2 of the bolts on the front right are blocked by wire harnes bracket. The bracket is botted to a larger bracket holding other stuff. Ford manual does not mention removing it. Do I need to? I am hesitant to bend it out of the way.
 
The sensor PLUG should pull out (there is a small spring clip holding it in) and the actual sensor may be too long to take out IN the car, either way, give it a try by using a large cresent wrench.

You'll have to unplug all the plugs and move the harness out of the way. I don't remember having a problem when I had my engine out.....probably because I just moved the harness and took off the bracket.
 
I eventually figured it out,but thanks for the reply. There was no spring clip. I may just replace it. I may have broke it. Does the inards of the sensor wiggle arround in the cage?
