Lincoln has just released the 2004 version of my 2003 Limited Edition. It's the Limited Edition for 2004:-
A little different this year.

Gone: The Charcoal gloss grille is replaced by the standard chrome "toothy" one.

Added: The 2003 L.E. version's unique wheels return, however they are now chromed.

The "B" pillar now features a brushed stainless applique covering it.

The seats are now two toned in Latte & Dark Latte. 2003 were Latte with Dark latte dash pad and other accents. Now the seats are also two-toned.

Fog Light are pulled off the car, and are not available.

"C" Pillar still features LIMITED EDITION nameplate.

The follwing that had been standard with the 2003 L.E. are now optional:
6-Disc Trunk Mounted Compact Disc Changer
Power Glass Moonroof
Rainsence Wipers (no longer available)
Fog Lamps (no longer available)

Buyer still gets unique Floor mats with LIMITED embrioardy

and.......

Two Tone Paint is now part of the deal!
Pearl White over Light Fawn Gold
Silver over Charcoal Grey
or
Cashmire over Light Fawn Gold.

Price lowered about $700.00

No, I do not like the two toning, and I love the rainsence wipers and would not give them up. I do like the wheels better chromed and likewise the brushed aluminum "B" pillar applique.

I tend to think that the 2-tone paint scheme would make the car slower, and that the the chrome "B" pillar applique, while good looking would add extra weight, again making the car slower. I also really love having Fog Lites. I appreciate the weight savings of the deletion, but that is then wiped outby the "Brushed Applique B-Pillar Dress-Up Decor" Ummph!

At 4,200 Lbs and 240 horsepower one has to be aware of adding weight :)
