i dont know how many of you guys live your life with face hair, but i have had the same moustache and go-tee since i was 18, i am 30 now and my look has not changed in 12 years except physically i am bigger and now bald lol, but the past 2 weeks i have gone without shaving my cheeks, i clean up, but i am trying to grow a beard. omg im sure some of you know what this is like, i have never had a full beard and i want to grow one for a change but it is soooooooooooooooo bad. if i can tough it out for another week, i'm sure the itching will go away but i just shaved now, and i was standing in the mirror, hand ful of shaving cream, and seriously contimplating shaving my cheeks lol, i didnt do it, i have to tough it out, i have never come this far, never more then 5 or 6 days, but im on day 14. what was it like for you guys the first time you grew a full beard? its funny seeing a completely bald headed man with a full beard, they say bald guys grow face hair to make up for the lack of head hair, well thats not my case, because when i let it all grow in i had a nice thick head of hair, not anymore lol, i actually dont mind being bald, makes me look like a tough guy lmao.
 
I have the same look. I have a moustache and go-tee and a shaved head and im 32. I shaved my head when I was 26. i neaver thought of growing a beard but thought of shaving my hole face but im afraid of looking like a babys ass forsay with no hair at all
 
When I grew my beard (1980) the itching problem is the worst part. I don't remember how I found this out but William's 'Lectric Shave alleviated the itching. Buy a small bottle and rub it in, it should help a lot.

The itching phase won't last long.
 
ha ha ha i knew some poeple would read this and be like, WTH? it is random lol. no max i'm not doing it for xmas, i just want to see if i can do it at all, RonB i have been shaving my head since about 21, around 20 ish i started losing my hair, its funny i still have my very first license from 16 and my hair is sweet, but then you see my license now, and i look like a serial killer. i'm not gonna post pics up cause i dont want to get jeremi turned on, but i will take one in a few weeks and maybe post it them, with a real fluffy beard. i'm gonna go for the zz top look lmao.
 
Same with me I started losing my hair in my higher teens 18,19 also and when I see my prom pic and my hair was so long and soft. I should of shaved it alot sooner I was just scared about if i looked funny with no hair then the little I had. lol I feel for ya

I used to be just a mustache/goatee guy. Then, probably a year or two ago, I decided to grow out a full beard just for shiggles. Except for the occasional incident when I'd trim a bit too much off one part of the beard, I haven't gone back since. Really, any time I try to keep the sides of my face clean-shaved (aside from just "cleaning up" around the beard) it just feels like too much hassle.

I hate to shave, and I think I may get that laser hair removal so o don’t have to shave any more.
 
When my Dad was alive he had to trim the hair on his back and chest just so he could button his shirt (real Gorilla), yet the top of his head was a perfect horseshoe. God I miss that guy.

God thats funny...My dad was the same way but he used to have this comb over when the window was down when he was driving the pull from the wind would suck his comb over off the top of his head and it would twist in the wind out the window :D :D
Man I Miss him more every day :frown:
 
Max is just jealous because he can't grow a beard. :) Whenever I go 3-4 days without shaving, it feels like a million in-grown hairs and itching and burning!
