Im torn between Pro Charger P1-SC and intercooler or the new Ken Bell spool setup i see on the new mustangs. (like in the shootout in latest issue of Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine?) there pulling about 400 HP each outta my same engine?
I want to see your opinions on each. One of the two will be purchased for the 2001 SVT motor in my Mark 8. I'm not worried about another dyno tune as i need another one now with all add ons. But heres the skinny on what the car is setup with.
SCT dyno tune in Mobile AL from JMS.
FMS4:10s with stud kit
Eaton posi
Dual exhaust with crossover into dual magnaflows
ART Longtube headers
Metal matrix driveshaft
Stock internals in 2001 SVT cobra motor except for the canton windage tray.
SCT 90MM MAF for the lightning.
K&N conical air filter with a custom fiberglass air intake tube to fit throttle body.
What's the benefit of having a bracket held supercharger setup compared to the black dual spool setup from ken bell? Which has better bang for buck? HP? And faster pickup? I think the Ken Bell setup I'm leaning to because its all neat and packed on top of engine. (Not worried about clearance issues as i will be running the SVT cobra hood soon.) As opposed to having to cut and move the radiator for room for the intercooler for the Pro Charger setup?
Torn between the two and i do drag racing every weekend, and drive the car to work every day with highway miles if the lady has my truck.
