Ordering parts, couple of questions...

So i'm gonna order parts tonight and I was wondering if any one had any advice or suggestions for suppliers.
Looking at ordering ring and pinion and a rebuild kit with trak-lok kit from Super Coupe Performance. Rear carriers bushings and a fuel pump from lincoln motorsports A metal matrix driveshaft from Rienhart. Also oem rear shocks and isolators o2's and a couple other odds and ends from Rock Auto.
I'm wondering if I need a chip with 4.10's in my 96. I've heard you do and don't and want a definitive answer before I go orderin it all to find out i need a 400 dollar chip. The vibrations and rattles have finally pushed me to my wits end and i figure at 200k the car deserves a little tlc.

RE: Ordering parts, couple of questions...

You will need a chip for the 4.10 gear but you can drive with out a chip.

check the vendor review forum for reviews on vendors.

you might be able to find the fuel pump cheaper elsewhere. I don't know what LMS wants for it, but it should only be $100, +/-. Carrier bushings should be $50, +/-

"isolator o2's" ?? do you mean o2 simulators? If so, you can have the o2 sensors shut off with a chip and forget about these.

And yes, you'll want a chip with the 4.10's. You can get by without, but the car will drive better with.

Good luck on the driveshaft from reinhart. He gets them drop shipped from dynotech in troy, mi, and last i heard, they weren't making MMC driveshafts anymore because alcoa discontinued the material.

If you join the LOD for only $20 you qualify for a lot of vendor discounts. Based on what you're in need of you'll membership will pay for itself several times over!

Membership to this site is worth the 20 bucks many times over in itself. It has come in handy many times... I meant the upper shock isolators, upper shock mounts but their wed site calls them isolators. Will any walboro fit in place of the original or what should i be looking for?? Dennis said he could still get the driveshafts mmc driveshafts but they were built special per application or something and i asked again before the end of the phone call so you can still get the metal matrix driveshafts? he quoted me 400 shipped...
thanks again
