PA 4G Alternator

Yep, it's what I have... Part # 1988. They used to be rated 160A when I got mine. You MAY need to open the harness and stretch out the regulator wires.
 
I just ordered this for my car. I hope to have it in within the next few days. I'm sick of the crap mitsu 93-95 alt's, they just suck. I'm really looking forward to not getting stuck with a dead alt anymore.
 
It arrived within 2 days and not a problem since. The powdercoating looks great and it put out 14.4 even with my under drives at idle with no load. The stock unit would NEVER do this. I'm very happy so far, we'll see how she is in the long run.
 
I think you'll be impressed. Mine's been in for a couple years now with no issues whatsoever.
 
Did you have to stretch out the wiring from the harness to reach the regulator?

oooo Jesse what is up with you and that blue ?! You got a SILVER car darn it!

Although I have to say I looooove blue and that alternator looks sick.
 
Well that picture is ov the 2V alternator that the t-birds have, but that blue would look great. And Driller, I bought a whole new pigtail for $10 and just left a few extra inches on it. Otherwise I would have had to extend the stock harness a bit. So far so good! The price is really comparable with the stock ford gen 2 or cobra alt, and this is beefed up a bit too.

Well yeah......but I was just pointing out the color. All I did was go to the "colors" page and copy the IMG link :)

Will that fit my 94? The web site listed indicates 96 and up, but I'm not sure that would matter here, would it?

if not, what's another alternative alternator?

The '96 probably refers to the more popular Mustang Cobra.

Part # 1988(which I have) will definitely fit your '94.
