passenger side rear/sagging

just installed a new air bag on the passenger side rear on my car. Yet it still sags even with the air ride switch off. I do not consider the new air bag to be a bad investment seeing that the one on the car was almost ten years old. I totally pancakes after about 15 minutes. I am going to order a new solenoid as I reused the one I had. Hopefully this will cure the problem. Does anyone have any clue as to why the car is losing air on just this one side. Before I changed the bag it would stay up most of the time, but every now and then it would be flat? Can not changing the solenoid cause this or a bad solenoid cause this? If so How do I get the air line out without messing up the line or the solenoid? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

How do the o-rings look on the valve? Did you re-coat them before installing?

RE: passenger side rear/sagging

I just pulled the o-rings from another set of solenioids I had, coated them with a little oil and replaced them. The bag has been holding for about 45 minutes, so hopefully that's got it. Time will tell however. The o-rings looked fine though, but I guess a visual inspection does not reveal the problem.

Check your measurements on the front wheels from the bottom lip of the rim to the lip of the fenderwell. If these aren't the same left to right it can throw off the leveling and make one side of the rear lower.
If the measurements are different there is a sliding adjustment on the height sensors on the front for minor adjustments. You might have to play with these to get it right. Just remember raising the bolt lowers the car and lowering that bolt raises the car.
I have experience with this after sensor lowering my car.
