It wont go up.

The problem first happened awhile ago. It went down and wouldn't come up until I used a vice grip and forced it up.

Well now it's down again and the vice grips wont work. The window appears to be on track. My dad has taken a look at it and can't figure it out either. I don't know what else to do, and it's going to get cold soon!

I have that problem every once in a while. I have to remove the door pad and tap the motor with a screwdriver handle while pushing the button up. It goes up fine then.

I think I need a new motor.

I've had this problem several times, and it appears that my window switch is sticking in the down position essentially cancelling out me trying to make it go up.

You can test the motor with a test light to make sure you're getting power/ground to it, once you've confirmed you've got power/ground, it means the motor is bad, if you are not getting power/ground to the motor, you need to check the switches.

Could be the infamous Ford window motor gear disintegration. A plastic gear in the motor breaks into little pieces.
