Pioneer home amp - need fuse spec

Folks, I can't find the service manual for this thing anywhere, I need the mainboard fuse for a Pioneer amplifier, model CX-790. I lost the fuse, otherwise I'd tell you what's on it. If ANYONE can help me by looking up the type of fuse it is, I sure would appreciate it. And then, if someone could tell me where I can find one, wow - what a help you would be! :)

Thank you in advance. If the serial number would help, it's QI6954575MZ. Looks like the only fuse on the board that I could see. (it's not an external screw-in, I took the case off and found that blown sucker - near the power cord entrance, toward the back.)

Thanks again.

RE: Pioneer home amp - need fuse spec

is it a glass tube type? Glass tube about the size of a pencil, 1" long with aluminum bands on the ends?

if so, it should say on one of the bands what it is, and you can get them at radio shack or other electronics stores.

RE: Pioneer home amp - need fuse spec

It's glass, but about 1/2" long, weird-shaped ends (almost comes to a point) but still uses the standard Buss fuse holder (clip on each end) - I lost the fuse, so I have no frame of reference.

I've tried Google, pioneer's website, etc - really hoping that someone on here has a resource at Sears that can hook a brotha up - not going to take it in and pay the exorbitant "inspection fee" just to get a fuse specc'ed out. :) I'm too cheap.
