Why did the Political Forum get moved? How does one access the members only section? Does that mean that you must join the club and pay dues to exercise free speech rights?
 
Red Box Rebel, The forum was moved by the LOD Board of Directors based on feedback from the LOD club members. You are correct, only the dues paying members have access to the members only section.

This website is primarily a Lincoln car club. And sure sometimes, some of us car nuts discuss politics. The forum was moved because there are some people around who just like to discuss politics, not Lincolns.

If you are a car nut, and want to discuss politics, join the club. I am the membership secretary.

Remember, this is a private message board, owned and operated by the Lincolns of Distinction Car Club Inc. on behalf of it's members.
 
RBR, you still have your free speech rights, the LOD can't take that away, you just can't use the LOD's soap box unless you are part of the LOD. It's as simple as that.
