Help!
My computer is infected with pop-up ads. Not too bad, but enought to be obnoxious.

I already uninstalled the Weatherbug program that I think was responsible for them, but alas...they persist.
How can I get them to stop? I can't install webware on the work 'puter, nor new software for the most part. Is there a cleanup process I can do?

I downloaded Ad-aware and (knock on wood) it's working well sofar.;)

adaware is good to remove stuff that will bring them in. ad muncher is good at stopping them if they are already there, but it does stop some stuff that you want, so you have to pay attention.
