LOL, with 3 patrol cars on the scene, to passerbys it had to look like the ending of a high speed police pursuit. :eek:

The citation read something like "...driving onto sidewalk to unload cooler." :lol3:

Went back to school rather then taking an additional two days off and joining the power tour for what? just to be fired again...

this time for "budgetary" reasons... which is also complete BS...
the vice principal had requested a classroom position, and since he was the former music teacher they are going to give him my job...

What is wrong with this school system... :D

Sorry to hear about your job. That sucks. I just heard this morning that St. Paul's school district is laying off 143 teachers.

it's going around. I'm lucky. My district happens to have a good sized reserve, so no cuts this year. just a "save money any way you can" directive.

and I just checked. no openings for a music teacher. :(
 
Ugh. That's pretty rotten. I'll bet the kids will all LOVE having to see the vice-principal for music class instead of the fun teacher who can make it interesting. BLAH!
 
I know! That sucks!! I was even thinking that had I been in your class, I'd probably be more exited to see you than I would be to see a substitute... haha. :(

Oh big time... and again this still isn't over...

but how many people can say they have been fired from the same job twice...? :D

I think my real goal now is to be rehired, and then fired once more before the end of the year... Cause I know, being fired 3 times in the same school year will be a system record, and if I'm goin' out...

I'm goin' out Joe Bradley style... :D not once, but three times... :D

I even said to JP, watch, I'm gonna do "the right thing" and go back to work, and get canned... again... :D

I'm very sorry to hear this Joe.

Hopefully, times will get better soon. They are closing schools around here. Are there less kids now?
