My 10 spoke chrome wheels are begining to pit on my 98 lsc.

So my girlfriends dad owns a powder coating shop, would it be a sin to powder coat them black on a 98 sliver LSC?
 
check at a post here that has powder coating on cobra 5 spokes, it looks amazing. not sure where it is but it was posted in yesterday.
 
thats in my thread, uhh, i could link but im lazy. Members rides, jbird97's mk8, last page. Mine where chrome when they started, 2 of the wheels had imperfections in the chrome, yup yup.
