That's some great info on the burnouts. I really am lame when it comes to burnouts, but my best stock time was when I managed 2 little burnouts on my street tires. I really need to go to the track. It's been years now, and I have so many things to try.
 
Sharon, you don't really need to do burnouts with street tires. Just get them spinning real quick to clean them up off any debris.
 
I never really understood the value of burnouts on a stock car... I ran my best ever 60ft time without any burnouts...
 
The burnouts stopped me from spinning one wheel off the line. The one time I did two and did them correctly, was my best time of the night.

Yeah, that was the issue. I had to manage 2 small burnouts right after the other to get both to grip enough to stop the one wheel spin.
