Pre-Carlisle Brewery Tour?

Hubby's been wanting to take a tour of this brewery for I don't know how long. It's about 75 miles away from Carlisle in Pottsville, PA.

So I was thinking that perhaps we may drive up there Wednesday, do the tour on Thursday (they offer tours at 10 AM and 1:30 PM) and then head to Carlisle afterwards.

Just wanted to see if there's any interest. It could actually help us out by letting us get some rest before the show on Friday. If we drive into Carlisle Thursday, we won't get in til real real late at night.
 
If I can make it then it would be the 1:30 tour on Thursday, I was not planning to go there until Thursday night so that means i have to take another day off work. I worked in the AB brewery in Newark for almost 2 years so I know how beer is made, lol
I hope they give free samples at the end.

Cool! I think it would be a fun way to start off the weekend! It doesn't look like we need to make reservations unless there's 20 or more of us. It really does look like fun and I can pick up some beer for the meet and to take back home.

So have we settled on 1:30 Thursday? I believe we can make that work as well.
 
Mmmmmm Yuengling. A friend of mine who works as a whitewater rafting guide just brought a bunch back for me, which we both enjoyed this weekend. It's a GREAT beer!

Since I just pre-registered it looks like I'll be going on this as well.
 
I'll have to see what Joe's plan is. But if he makes it in time for the tour, (hahaha, "if") then so will I!
 
Just wanted to remind everyone that we'd like to make the 1:30 tour on Thursday, June 5. We should meet up sometime earlier, especially since I have to hit up the gift shop for some friends who were from PA.

We probably should figure out a way to share cell phone numbers. We're hoping to spend the night near Pottsville on Wednesday, but it depends on how far I can actually stand to be sitting in the car.
 
I don't know if we will be in Carlisle by then. We were going to arrive on Wednesday but got pushed back a day. Might have to pass =( Maybe someone could bring me back a case?
