I preregistered March 30 or so. I have a room at the comfort suites and plan to arrive late Thursday.

Well, I am a newbie to the club but not to the forum. I know some of you have seen and responded to my posts in the introduction section, and thank you. I wanted to post a question here that I have also posted there, if you don't mind.

I made the final decision to go to Carlisle tonight. I havent registered yet for one reason only. I am bringing my MH with my Mark in tow. I wanted to get recomendations from the members on where they stay if any do the camping thing. I saw that there is a request for camping on the registration form. I gathered it was on the Show Grounds. Has or does anyone do this? Please send me your recomendations on this or other locations. (Hopefully its not too late.)

Patrick, it's our b-day weekend, you need to find a way to go. OK? Listen, with car is the best, but even without your Mark if it be, we'd still love to have you with us.

So, we're getting close to pre-registration cutoff, do not forget the incredible goodie bags! The Driller's always come up with some awesome stuff (like last year's t-shirt which was mistaken by someone as an official "carlisle" tee).

EDIT: This also may be everyone's last chance to meet Candy, the dog slut, if we bring her. However, if Mark Darrah comes out, the two of them may be inseparable.

I'm trying, I just can't make any promises. And if I do go, I'm most likely not going to be staying for more than a day, because I don't know if I can afford a hotel room at this point in time (besides, they're probably all taken). I was going to be having a friend of mine come with me and we were going to split the room, but I haven't heard from her in weeks, so I guess she changed her mind?

Edit: On the other hand, I've got two Marks. One of them (my '96) runs just fine, but looks like crap, and is currently uninsured and unregistered. Then I've got my '97, which looks much better and up until a week and a half ago, ran great. I've also got my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard which I could bring, but I don't know if my butt can handle a 400 mile ride to Carlisle, especially if I'm coming back the same day. hahaha

Drop the insurance on the one that doesn't run, register and insure the '96 and get your hiney to Carlisle.

Look at one of these Carlisle threads - someone was advertising to share motel room expenses. Cadillackman?
