Just joined. Been on FvC and before that the now defunct original site who's name I have forgot. You guys have been an valuable resource to me for almost ten years now. I can't thank you enough.
Anyway, this post is about the 71 Mustang notchback I bought in 1972 after I got out of the the Marine Corps. I was a fan of the Mark series even then starting with the first one in 1948. I kept imagining my Mustang with Lincoln badging and amenities(and let's not forget the grille and the hump).
Of course, I never dreamed FoMoCo would one day build a Mark on the Mustang platform. It was a great idea when they did it and I think it would have been a great idea then not to mention now. I think with the popularity of the current Mustang there'd be enough of a market for a Mark X on the same platform. Oh well!
Future plans are an VIII and maybe someday a II.
