Just some info I found out today about a fuel door switch for the Mark. Somehow, the spring escaped from mine switch and would no longer open my fuel door. After a month of having to pop the trunk, I stopped at Marshall Bros LM to get a price on a new switch. To make a long story short, $73 list price, $52 discounted price to me. Then, we tried a Marquis switch for the hell of it...it worked! $9 and some change final price (only comes in black with chrome button...but it matches my window switches where the covers fell off :+ ). Nothing like having to pay almost $40 just to have my switch in a tan color!

Nice find Marcia. Way back when, I had a 1957 Chrysler. Anytime I replaced any parts, I always checked to see the difference between a Chrysler and a Plymouth part. Many, many times the parts were identical...'cept for the price!!

PHRANQUY is right and makes a good point. ALWAYS check with our vendors here to compare prices. Dan at FordPartsHQ or Max at 5-Star for such parts will surely be less. We have vendors that cover almost all parts and accessories and the prices will almost always be cheaper.
