Pro-street Mark VII

RE: Pro-street Mark VII

Looks like that's an ad on the car. I don't like the bright stuff in the interior, but I wouldn't mind having the car.

I just don't understand though - why would someone go to all that trouble and then not see what it can do on the racetrack?

The part I cant figure out is, when you build a back-halfed drag car, be it a "pro-street" or ET Bracket car, you are adding a ton of weight. yet, the peanut motor looks stock, with no power adders.

I dont know, maybe I didnt read the micro-print close enough, but that 5.0 looks like nothing more than a 5.0 H.O. engine.

They had to have added plenty of weight. even if it had a 175 shot on it, or a snail-charger...it still is nothing more than a "looker".

Would be nice to strip it down, toss in a 528 inch stroker and make it a REAL pro-street car.

RE: Pro-street Mark VII

Lets get started with the heart of this beast. The engine is a Ford GT Block that was bored .030 over and is stuffed with Forged Pistons, Steel Crankshaft, B303 Ford Motorsports Hydraulic Camshaft & Lifters, GT40 Heads, 75 mm Holley Throttle Body, 75 mm Holley Mass Air Flow Sensor, 34 lb/hr Fuel Injectors, Re-Calibrated Mustang GT Computer, Brand New High Volume Fuel Pump, and a HEI Ford GT Ignition. This beast breaths through a K & N Air Filter System and exhales through Custom Headers with a Dual Chamber Flowmaster Exhaust System producing 425+ Horsepower, WOW!!

That's a lot of words he used to say "rebuilt 5.0, forged components, heads, headers." I call BS on the 425 HP unless he's running some serious compression. My bet is he added all the numbers advertised for all his mods and came up with a number.

The graphics are ugly, the interior is disgusting.

Not my cup o tea.
