Quick intro...

Hi all!

First I want to say hi! Some of you may know me already. I was a member of markviii.org for several years, but I am no longer welcome there - no explanation as to why. So I am spreading out to some other sites that I used to lurk on :)

I have a 96 Mark VIII, base, fully loaded. The interior is in great shape, the exterior is nice but I want a paint job! Its opal opalescent with black interior.

For the most part it is stock but this year I will be making some drastic interior changes with some custom leather work on the interior. Exterior is a stock as stock gets, but I am mid-way through and LED project for the tail end that I am confident will turn out well! Oh, the power plant is a 2004 Aviator transplant with 01 Cobra intake and custom tune - just FYI :)

I love my Mark and I, for the most part now, love the Mark community and look forward to helping out where I can because I know I will need your help too!

WHOA NO WAY!!! Another one bites the dust. Me and Jesse got kicked a few months back. I went under the name hasperde over there. This is a great place with great people :).
 
Welcome to the light! All you guys have been contributing here like crazy. Their loss is our gain.

Yes I did! Its was for the quote of the day. Here is what I wrote at LvC:

OK... so now I know why I was banned. I used the word "ass". Yes, "ass" - but by quoting someone.

Someone wrote something like "If they are going to convert out housing to halogen, Ford can stick em up their ..."

I thought it was funny and I quoted him. I said, "Someone gets a cookie for the quote of the day! LOL". Then the quote, followed by an image of a cookie.

That was it. No warning, no thread clean-up. Just a flat out ban. I think this pisses me off even more. Guess its time to change my sig file on the remote server to the one I made yesterday....

Now if maybe I used more colorful words myself, including the F word, I could understand. While the word and sentence may be offensive to three year olds, these forums are ran and used by members over 18. I hear worse on cable TV. If I thought it offensive, I would not have quoted it. I looks like both I and the other user, forget who, got banned together.

LOL, seriously...and he said I was the problem by sending PM's "containing untruths about myself and the actions of the moderating staff".......please, he will continue to show his true face, one(or two, ha) members at a time. And then only him, the "followers", and the poor saps that find his site first will be the only ones left.
 
I still go over there just to see whats been posted(mostly in the for sale area!) but other than that I just go right to the search area if I need any answers I can't find anywhere else.
 
When I first "left", I went on there to get all my posts. Haven't been there since.
