If nothing else, it made me laugh!

We all need a good laugh under this circumstance.

Oh that is so sad! What a gorgeous car that was, too.

RE: R.I.P. JoeyChromes's 1990 LSC

Hello: My name is Joe, I (owned) the crushed Mark VII shown by OldSchool. I live in Philly, and am the treasurer of www.thelincolnmarkviiclub.org.

So I finally got a handle for LOD, and wanted to say that I appreciate your concern for my loss. That car meant a lot to me, and all car guys know that I had hundreds of hours wrapped up in that car and over $10K as well. It had under 100K on the clock, and was really one of the cleanest and distinct Marks I have seen over the past three years.

So I am now looking for a replacement; the engine, trans, interior, and suspension (full poly-bushing conversion, KYB shocks, air springs, etc) can be transferred to another car. So basically I am looking for a straight body to transfer my vehicle to.

So again thanks for the concern and email me if anyone sees a clean example in the Phila area. --Joe lscjmz@yahoo.com

Welcome Joe. :)

Sorry your first post was the subject of such a loss.

FWIW, I've never seen too many 'replacement' vehicles ever live up to their predecessor, but good luck on the hunt and may it turn out for the better. ;)
