It was not a good day. I got there just as the street class was finishing up their 1st run. My first run I decided to short shift at 6500rpm and it didn't work out so well. I had to shift into 3rd before the traps which killed my ET and MPH a bit... I ran a 2.30/14.73/95.56mph. 2nd run didn't come until 2 hours later and my engine was super cold. I blew the tires off and did a 2.6 60 foot time, I just coasted the rest of the 1/4 mile. My launch technique is to settle into the throttle (push throttle in but not WOT) and as soon as I feel the tires hook go WOT... I need to practice that technique more because I haven't raced at the track for a long time. This car needs trac-loc/gears bad.

The weather here on the east coast has been terrible all but 1 weekend.
 
Yea, it was cool to be out there racing again. A lot of people came by and looked underneath the hood and gave me compliments on having a clean ride. I forgot to mention the headwind today was the worst that I can remember.
