Rack

I agree. I bought a rebuilt rack from an auto parts store once, and had to replace it a year later because it started leaking.

And if you've got a Gen 1, and want the same ratio, get a T Bird rack like I just did for my black Mark..

I don't think the Gen 1 Mark VIII racks are available anymore.

What year T-bird?

I'm not sure of the year, Jeremi picked it up for me.

The Motorcraft part number is:
STG-25-RM
F6SZ-3504-ACRM

I always just use the 97 T-bird when I ordered suspension parts. It was an educated guess. Haha.

hahah

hahah

:D

I guess he could of said keep it FORD MotorCraft. haha thats funny.
Same goes for GM. You can buy cheapie rotors, but you get thinner ones that warp in half the time, unlike the very heavy duty and thick ones from GM. I guess the saying still rings true, you get what you pay for.

haha

haha

I believe that's a '96 part number.

JP, youre king of part number stashes. I used to have all those cool tidbits of info at the ready on hardrive but since upgraded the drive and installed Windows 7 on this drive. So that is the first copy and paste "borrow" for the new mark viii folder. :D

I recently bought one from the dealer. I assumed I would get a new one. Ended up being a reman. Parts guy said all they have is remans. I would bet they are the same as one of the Rock auto ones.

I think I'm gonna just go buy a seal (or seal kit) from the dealer. If they can't help then I'll buy this....

Found this when I pulled out this morning....was trying to figure out what the big dripping trail of oil on my driveway was. :(
