radio help

Okay, I can't find my book of wiring diagrams to save my life, so I need some pointers.

1998 Mark VIII, base, non LSC.

Sunday, I pulled the dash to fix the AC heat door thingie. Put everything back together, and everything was working fine. Drove to the local convenience store to get a drink and test out to see if my heat was working.

Everything was working fine on the way there, but on the way home, the radio suddenly stopped making noise. The display is on and working, it is seeking and scanning, and picking up stations. If I put a cassette adapter in, it works, but no noise is coming from the speakers at all.

Also, 2 other things that may or may not be related to this.

When I pull my key out of the ignition, it no longer raises the steering column (I don't have the original driver or passenger seat in this car so none of the other memory functions work, and the telescoping has NEVER worked, but before I did this repair, the steering wheel would still raise whenever I removed the key).

Also, when I put the car into gear, it no longer pops the parking brake. I have to reach up under the dash and manually pop it (the manual release next to the seat does not work due to the car getting flooded and seizing the cable).

I can live without the parking brake or the steering column tilting, but i NEED my radio. If I don't have non-stop Enya playing, then the road rage takes over.
