Ran a Nissan 350Z Roadster

Well i was coming off of nimitz highway going onto H1. This guy in a 350Z was pullin up to me and then slowing down and then pullin up on me. So finally when we came up to the highway the guy slingshot past me and i slowly catched up to him. I went ahead a lil bit and drop back down goin around 55 mph and my nose was at his rear bumper and then he nails the gas! So i hit the gas turned off the overdrive, and slowly put surely reeling this guy in at 110mph and then he CUTS ME OFF!!! to avoid a car in his lane. I hit my brakes and didn't pursue it. I think if we lined up goin that same speed 55mph i would of been in front, but like i said slowly put surely pullin ahead. 350z are pretty fast. sorry for long post..

An engineer here has one. I cannoit get him to go to the track with me. But we have messed around on the highway quite a bit. I hand his ass to him every time.

I have tried to get that guy to bring his car to the track but he chickens out every time. He told me he found a place to get either a single or twin turbo for his car.

blah to all of you. 350z's are a disgrace to the "Z" line. Yeah, i guess they are still fast but they are SOOO heavy and definitely not manuverable like the earlyer ones, plus people buy them to be 'cool' now. I would take a 300ZX any day over the 350Z. G35's are pretty nice, still not a huge fan. If im already dropping that kind of bank, I want a BMW DINAN 540i 6-spd.

I like the G35 coupe design. If i would be getting a new car or thinking about it, that would be def. one of the top on the list. Nice cars in black, silver and red.. but thats about it. 350z i really don't like them, i would much rather have a 300zx

As a racercar??? Certainly!

As a street car that thing is HIDEOUS!

I think the new 350Z/G35 is one of the best designs since the Mark VIII. They start at $26K, not bad IMHO, but the car to have with regard to design AND performance is the Cadillac CTS-V. I wasn't crazy about the design at first, but they really have grown on me, esp. when you see one hooked up in person. Throw a 400HP V8 and RWD into the equation and you've got yourself a winner!

Maybe in a few years they'll be "affordable". In four years, nothing is going to come close to it as far as affordability, performance, style and design. Unless it retains it's value like the 95/96 Impala SS, that would suck!

i must be the only one that doesnt like it. the wing sucks, the bolted on body kit doesnt work for me, especially the side skirts, and that paint is nasty.

looks like a rockford fosgate demo car.
