Rear bag inflation

I just bought two new rear air bags from Arnott and want to know if there is a special way to inflate them after installation. Once the job is complete, can I just start the car and let the compressor pump them up?

That should be all that's required. If the compressor times out, turn the key off and try again.

My check air ride suspension light just started coming on and the ride height seems a bit higher than normal. I also noticed that when I exit the car and close the door, I don't hear the system bleed off. Could it be the start of vent valve problems? If so, where is it located and how can I fix or replace it?
Thank you both for your info on refilling the rear bags.

Sounds like a vent valve problem to me too.

You can get a rebuilt compressor (that contains the vent valve). if your compressor is OK, your other option would be to buy a spider valve from Eddie.

I personally would get the spider valve (both of my cars have them).

Either way, I'd recommend that you get your parts from Eddie. Here's his website:

I'm a bit strapped for cash right now. Can I clean the vent valve? The compressor seems to be working fine electrically so I was hoping to clean the valve. By the way, how do I access the compressor? Is it a pain to get to?
