How do I change the rear brakes on my 04 lincoln ls. it has the electric park brake application. Does anyone have a procedure for retracting the rear calipers?

I haven't done mine yet, but there have been posts on how to do this....search the brakes forum and you will find it.

To answer your questions, according to my resourses you'll need to remove the parking brake cable from the top of the caliper PRIOR to removing the caliper. Other then that, its straight forward.

When you're turning down the caliper, I highly suggest leaving the brake bleeder screw open, this will prevent the old cruddy fluid from going back up into the lines and it will allow the caliper to compress easier.
