rear end noise?

My 95 mark is making a bit of a droneing noise from what it sounds like its coming from the right rear wheel. i know nothing about that type of rear end. I thought it might be flat spots in my tires because it sat for two years, but after new tires i still hear it. Any suggestionson what it might be?

Could it be the rear wheel bearings? I don't think they're expensive and for an eight year old vehicle, their time may be up...
