Looking for the old threads that discuss the Center rear light that goes accross the rear deck panel.

When the light goes out, is there a replacement available?

Is there broken glass visable in the bottom of the unit? If not, e-m Glitchm@hotmail.com. He makes a replacment transformer for them which will cure the problem.
Also, you need to check the rear lights and the brake lights to see if they are working. When the ballast goes out, it usually blows the tail light fuses.

Actually, all the other lighting is working. Tail lamps, brake lamps and signals are all working. Just the center dsiplay is not working.

If you look closely when you have someone hit the brakes, if the bulb is good, you will see a flash in the corner of the neon. (Cup hands around you eyes in the daytime). That means only your ballast is toast..... get new (and better) ballast from glitch.
