Rearview mirror vibrating on 97 Mark

Ever since I've driven this car (for about five years now) the rearview mirror vibrates and shakes so much that I can never see anything clearly. I used to have a Broadway mirror and I'm thinking the extra weight screwed it up. Do you guys have any suggestions? Maybe get another Broadway mirror and see if it balances out again?

Also, the headlamp delay time is erratic; I don't even turn the knob but the information center shows it's being switched. What the heck is going on?

My headlight delay does that too. The message center will suddenly say "10 seconds" and then "0 seconds", then it's fine. I figure the switch is dirty, but I've never bothered to look at it.

As for the mirror, mine's pretty sensitive too, but usually when I've got the stereo up loud. If yours does it all the time, I would suspect it's picking up vibrations from the driveshaft. $500 for a new driveshaft is a bit pricey just to fix the mirror though.
