I have a 94 but the head gaskets went so i bought a used one from a 96 that was totaled hit in back but i dont trust it so i'm going to rebuild it how far can i bore it out. what is the best rebuild kitor should i buy individual peices. also who makes the best head gaskets is it rue that the 96 has a bee hive spring and if it is is it the same as the ones from comp cams?

Max overbore on stock sleeves is .030 There is nothing wrong with the stock head gasket. The only downside to them is that the head and block must be perfectly square for them to work properly. They have no mercy for an out of square situation. Commetic head gaskets are what I have used, but are around $200 a set. I would stay with the stock $90 set if I were you.

No stock valve spring in any motor is anywhere CLOSE to the comp springs. that is why they are $500+ for a set. You can buy kits from a couple different places.
