Daughter #1 wants to put her Mark up for sale. She'd thought it should go to a good home and wants to post it here first.

REDHOT is an unmodified Mark 8. I think the car had 45K miles on it when it was bought (from an Arlington Tex school teacher, who replaced it with an SE and was disappointed.) The only aftermarket stuff is a K&N filter and a MP3/CD stereo receiver. The OEM CD player is gathering dust in the garage. The motor has been on Mobil One for its entire life. It has 167,005 miles on it. The motor runs great. The only problem she’s had with it is the crank sensor wiring needs to be juggled sometimes to get it to start. I have not found the spot where it is bad.

I've done all the work on it. I’ve replaced air bags with second gen bags. Other parts replaced (not counting consumables): Fuel pump, rear shock towers insulators, rear bag springs, crank sensor; cam sensor; both cam and crank sensor pigtails, two alternators, radiator fan, upgraded 2-3 tranny accumulators and Mercon V fluid.

It has the burgundy (dark red) color. Standard parking lot dings, but no major bumps or craters. There is no hail damage. The driver seat is showing a tear at the back/seat corner. Flesh tone interior. The car is a Texas car – never driven in ICE/Snow states. Non-smoker interior.

$1500 or Best Offer

I'll try to get one to post.

Never mind, right outside Dallas. :) I see that now.

I am looking for a second one, but the gas/transportation has to be factored into the price, on my end.

Here is two more -- seat detail and my incorrect mileage declaration.

UPDATE:

RedHot Sold for $1250 to a local DIY Shade Tree Wrench.

Good bye REDHOT!

I'm just gonna have to focus on HOTLNC. It's pushing 1/4 of a million miles. Between it and my wife's 2002, I'll be busy enough, I bet ya.
