Ok folks, this has got to be a record. Drove to Iowa for the bi-monthly pre-wedding prep stuff. From Dallas, TX to Clear Lake, IA we saw 8 Mark VIIIs. This is out of control! Of course, since I was driving the fiancee's Honda Accord, no one saw me (or paid attention).
The trip was on 15 August, from around noon in Dallas to 1am in Iowa. If you were on I-35, I saw you!
Never seen that many before. Thought I'd share. And my poor Mark was sitting at DFW waiting for me to come back on my airplane. That damned Honda really cruises tho - you don't notice you're going 95 until you think to yourself "man, these people are going SLOW!" and then you look down.
My cheap-o Cobra radar detector paid for itself 4 times on the trip. Now that it's saved so much money, I think I better cough up for a Valentine One.
Anyway, I'm rambling.
