Anyone use royal purple in their lincolns? Used to use it in one of my old cars and it worked great. My conti has 129k miles...Thinking About maybe going full royal purple. The motor oil,Power steering fluid,Tranny fluid (says its mercron V compatable,and radiator additive (also used this in my old car and dropped temp a lil)...lemme know what you guys think..I dont know the history of my car so I just wanted to get rid of all old fluids and use high quality stuff.
 
I use Royal Purple in the Vette... for the Transmission and the rear diff fluid.

I would say stick with Mercon V and save yourself some money... and in terms of motor oil I would stick with Motorcraft semi synthetic that you get for $2 a quart or so at Wal-Mart and also save yourself money there.

Are they great fluids?
Yes.

Does it make sense to use them in a car with 129k miles on and questionable maintenance history?
No.

Just use OEM quality fluids in your Conti and it will serve you great.
