i pretty close to buying a set of speedstars for the mark. i have a couple different places to get em from. problem i dont know what i like or want... silver or chrome. does any1 out there have any pics of their mark with silver speedstars on it, i know there are a bunch of pics with the chrome. so i need to see the silver speedstars.

Here is a old picture of Scott L's Mark. I think he has Steeda Ultra Lites though. They almost look the same as a Speedstar.

thats kinda close, but id like to see the exact saleen pictured on a mark. i have a black on black 97 lsc, im thinking the silver might look a little sportier, and theyre a little cheaper 620 compared to 800 chrome. thanks for trying tho mls.

Hey steve you can get a set of chrome wheels 18 x 9 for 680 from americanmuscle.com. Cannt go wrong with chrome on a black car.
 
i dont know now if i want chrome, i think it might a little too thugish...lol
plus i think the silver might look good on a black car, they might stick out a little more, the chrome might blend in a little more with all the reflections... i dont know i would love to see some1 with the silver speedstars on it. it would really help me out...any 1 feel free to chime in
 
ya i knew about the customwheelshop and also a couple others. the cws was slightly more expensive than the others... so i was going to go with one of the other vendors, but when i was ready to make the order they said they were out of stock. so i guess i had to go with cws.... oh yeah i decided to go with the chrome, after hours of searching for a pic of the silver speedstars i finally found one on a mustang forum. the silver speedstars look too much like cobra r's(not that theres anything wrong with em), but the chrome accents lines the wheels have that are different from the cobra r's. and althought it may seem a little thugish... the chrome is what i originally wanted. ordered today so pretty soon the mark will be glissening.

you gotta get chrome for a black mark, the silver wheels on black make the whole car look dull. i hate silver, just my opinion but a set of chrome wheels on a black mark make the whole car look badazz, you put silver on then the car looks badazz with dull wheels. chrome is sick on black, as long as they arent 24 inch spinners sharp enough to cut your hand off, when i say chrome i mean a nice evil looking wheel, like the speedstars or what not, not the super blingy 4000 dollar dubs. those look retarded.

at the other forums i asked you about some tips for a gen II, well i found a guy selling em, he wanted $50 a piece. i about fell out of my seat. was that a fair price for 10 year old exhaust tips? and you never answered me wether or not you had any.
 
i have gotten 80 bucks for a pair, but thats not what i asked for them, thats how much they went for on ebay, the public made that price, i started them at 19.99 the age doesnt matter as much as the condition, brand new they used to go for about 80 bucks each, i dont even think you can get them new now, but i'd say 40 to 70 bucks for a pair is fair depending on condition, i usually polish the hell out of them when i have a pair they end up looking brand new. i dont currently have any. when i do have a pair they never stay in my parts stash long, i sell them everytime i get them, people back up on a hill or get towed and they get crushed. nice ones can be hard to come by.
 
Guess I should have kept mine. I have nice tips which look very stock like but they're black chrome.

well i just got the wheels today! i went with chrome, i think it will look good. they look great in the box, so im sure they will be great on the car. gonna have them on by friday or saturday, will post pix... kaoticgt wanted me 2 so i will.
 
hey steve thinks for remembering me, hey where did you get yours from? and when you take the pics could i get a front and rear shot to see if they poke out any from the fenders thanks man
