I recently checked the front end on my MK8 and decided to replace everything because it was so bad! I already bought all of the parts to do the rebuild; however after seeing the condition of the original rubber stuff after only 95K I decided that I would like to go with polyurethane bushings. Does anyone know which bushings in the Super Coupe Performance kit are compatable with the MK8. I would assume that all of the control arm bushings are compatable, and I hope that the strut rod bushings are compatable, but what about the rest of the kit?
 
Well Bill from Super Coupe Performance answered my inguiry so my question is answered. I am not used to people actually answering my email inquiries so that was a welcome surprise! This is what he told me as far as compatibilities.

Here are the bushings that will fit.
- Front sway bar bushings
- Front and rear strut rod bushings
- Lower control arm bushings (if you have the cup washer from the Tbird LCAs), which I guess you do have!
- Outer tie rod grease fitting covers
- Upper control arm bushings (if you have the Tbird upper control arms)
- The rack/pinion bushings will fit the '93-97 Marks, but not the '98.


I thought that the only difference between Tbird and MK8 upper control arms was the mount for the ride hieght sensor.
 
Besides the mount for the ride hieght sensor mount what is the difference between T-Bird fron upper control arms and MK8 upper control arms?
