Seat Covers or Not?

I love my leather seats and they are still in great shape with no tears or rips. Does anybody have seat covers to keep them protected from tears? Do seat covers actually hurt leather seats?

Not a big fan of seat covers unless it is coving damaged seats. Reminds me of people who protect their floor mats when it is the floor mats job to protect the carpet and get dirty. lol
