Second Mark In The Driveway

RE: Second Mark In The Driveway

"extremely well maintained"...LOL...but the car needs bushings and ball joints???? I guess everyone has a different view on what "well maintained" is. Kinda like the generic "loaded" in adds. I've seen "loaded" cars with no leather, no moonroof, etc...LOL

RE: Second Mark In The Driveway

Its not total magic...after 5 years of ownership I knew what I was looking for....It has brand new bags on the front, and the compressor was on time, quick and quiet...It has a mirror that has no power, but the windows, AC, stereo, fans, fuel and trunk releases were good....the lights are fairly new, much better than expected, the cruise, horn, and tach are good....Message center was all 'ok'.The automatic lights did not turn on, so that'll give me some homework on a fix......Even the chrome trim was still good.....The bumpers and grill are perfect, clear-coat is good, tires 50% even though some balancing and getting the wheels put back on correctly is on the list...I need a new "L" for the ID badge on the rear....it has a new spare tire and the trunk looks new inside....the damned power antenna still works!!...No way did I want a sunroof for a high school kid, so that
was actually a plus...The drivers door leather trim has separated on top, but appears to be fixable, the seats have ZERO tears and the console with wood trim is fully functional with no breaks......It shifts on time and the OD off button works as well.. the traction control and rear defrost buttons are good too....Auto-seats are functional, all interior lights operational,..The remote and anti-theft also are flawless, even the stinkin door handle is tight as tight gets....the auto-entry is good and all lines down the sheet metal and hood, fender, and doors is perfect, this includes the rear window 'lasagna' look which is non-exhistant...I did hear the 'monster' in the right rear shock on a dip, so a bushing rebuild will be necessary there..The trunk emblem is still RED and it will need a trunk light.....The brakes and steering are good, power is smooth, although I think my 94 is faster, even at 174k miles......The temp ran 1/2 way in 90+ weather...No vibrations at 85+mph..Looking at the ball joints whie checking the bags, I did see the bushings were in tatters, so thats my first job...all else looked REAL good!

Did I miss anything?
