my new shocks are finally in the car along with new bushings.

I've read some bad things about the cobra bilstein shocks like that they'd make the ride rough without any real improvement with handleing and after a test drive I think thats false.

Along with the air suspension the ride was smooth as if it were new but the rear is solid through turns.

I haven't been able to really test it to much because of the heavy traffic here but so far I've been able to take a 20mph turn with no understeer or body roll.

These things are great :D

Nice! I have the Strutmasters lowering coils & shocks on my '98 Mark.

Will the Cobra Bilsteins work with the lowering coils? Did you get the struts for the front and shocks for the rear? Part numbers?

Thanks,
Elias

I didn't do the fronts but if you search on here there's a whole write up on putting struts into the front air bags, and if you have front coils too i'm sure its not very hard.

The part number is : F4-BE5-2959-H0

these are labeled "heavy duty" shocks for the 03 cobra, I bought them off tire rack.com. They also have "sport" shocks that I thought I was buying which are stiffer and are ment for extreme performance/autocross.

The HD shocks though are still MUCH stiffer than stock, it took my whole body weight to compress it where as my old stock shocks i could compress with 1 arm.
