Smog Results

I took my mark in for a smog and i was very surprised by the results. Not bad for not having the 3rd cat.

i'll have to see what my last sniff test was without the third cat. I have a before and after third cat removal but I'll see how it compares to yours.

My #s were close to 0 with the 3rd cat.... but you're still way below average.

Not bad.

I believe the third cat is for start up - when the engine is cold. Since they only test a warm engine, the 3rd cat is inconsequential.

i believe when i compared mine before and after third car removal some numbers were up to three times as high. It definitely made a difference but it was still well within spec.
