Leo...forgive me. I know it isnt my business. But this question has been plaguing me for weeks, ever since I heard about Moose being on the chopping block.

Why would you sell the 97 LSC and keep a El Camino?

I know the El Camino is a sweet show car, with a lot of custom touches here and there...but ....well....it's an El Camino!

I mean...the 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC...it's rare, its in flawless condition... there probably isnt another one like it on the planet! El Camino's are EVERYWHERE!

I am just curious...I am not implying that your decision is unintelligent...I just dont understand. Perhaps because around here, no matter how mice your El Camino is(unless it is a 60's/70's EARLY model, SS or something like that), there is another one just like it, or in nicer shape...

FWIW...the ElCo is BEAUTIFUL!

Now if Moose had a home in CA to go to...

heh heh.....

excellent explanation, Leo. It makes perfect sense. Understand completely, and I actually thought of other justifiable reasons to keep "Jr.". it is(afterall) a Chevrolet, that shares many parts both new, custom and aftermarket, with many other makes/models. That makes it a very versatile piece of automotive ownership. You can drive it, show it, fix it, use it, baby it, clean it, and no matter what, it will be recognized, appreciated(HUGE fan base for ElCo's as opposed to the under-appreciated Mark VIII).

I suppose I am biased due to my fascination with the Mark VIII...
