Some Lincoln memorabilia and some questions about it

I have some Lincoln memorabila that was given to me by friends and I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen it or knows about it.

Any comments or info are welcome and if you have some other peices I'd sure like to see those too..:)

This first one is a key chain thing. It lets you connect another key ring. The friend that gave it to me said that it was his dad's from an old Mark series. Does anyone know what year or mark series it was from?

This next one is a Mark VIII pin. A friend that used to work at Ford gave it to me and said that he thought it was part of a package introducing the Mark VIII. Has anyone ever seen this or heard of this?

This second photo shows the pin on my Lincoln jacket. I do know where that came from. I bought the jacket while I was doing some work for Ford. The project I was working on was having some jackets made and they showed us some samples and one sample was a Lincoln jacket. I asked If I could get one of the Lincoln jackets too.

The Lincoln key chain was offered for many models. Look in the back of your owners manual and it'll probably be there, it is in my '95 manual and a similar one for my '86... You register the number by sending in a card and if someone finds your keys they will send them back to you...

I have a pin just like that one, still in its wrapper. I bought it on an online auction, from a seller that said it was from the introduction of the VIII series.

I guess the keychain isn't as rare as I thought.

The story about the pin matches up with what I was told before. I wonder how many are out there.

Does anyone else have any more Lincoln items?

I have a few things. One is another Mark VIII pin, it's shaped differently than this one. It has a red enameled surface and says Mark VIII on it. I have a couple of dealer binders from when the cars were sold (which include color slides), a brochure/cushion combo with slides from an auto show introduction, and a black and white press/promotional photo. I have three different kinds of sales brochures with the Marks in them, and a couple of Mark VIII hats, too.

I like the literature/sales items, I think they're pretty interesting. ;)

I have a 1998 Mk VIII Collector Edition press release kit.
It has a few pages of type with a few slides showing details.

They are out there....picked it up for 24 bucks awhile back.

I gave Alexander a cd (at Carlisle) with pictures of the pins, ingots, brochures, slides, etc for use on the website. I also included magazine articles I have on the Marks, as a resource for the club :D

I think he said he hoped to make use of them the next time the website is updated.

Cool, Alexander! Let me know if you have any questions about anything on the cd, or if you want more info from the Lincoln dealer binders.

If anyone wants to know, there is 1 page of Lincoln items in my latest Ford Collection catalog. Their website is fordcollection.com, and the items are not model-specific.

I bought one of the white t-shirts, the Lincoln pen, and the keychain :D
