Spastic Cruise Control

The wife’s brick (94 Conti) has been acting strange part time now that we are driving it 50% of the time. The cruse control works sometimes and sometime not. After hitting bumps, it goes off/on. I figure there is a loose ground or connection somewhere.

Any hints where I should look?

I wonder if the bumps are causing your brake pedal to depress just enough to set off the brake switch, which would in turn deactivate the cruise control. Just a hunch...

Good suggestion.

But, the the cruse contorl will NOT activate when it bumps off. Sometimes it turns off on smooth roadway!
