Spring Trip coming up!!

I am Thinking about a early spring road trip..... either Gualala/Pismo Beach/Reno.......no date has been set as of yet, I need everyone's input and availability for the early Spring.... This may/will be an over-nighter so give me your thoughts.....

I'm in. I think Gualala would be a great trip. Cheap hotels, very close to Fort Bragg, and a sweet drive. There is one place called the Gualala Inn. Used to be a brothel, now its a nice place to stay. They have cheap rooms, and it includes a meal. they also have a nice big bar.

reno would be fine too, but I think alot of our members would rather stay a bit closer than 4 hours of straight driving. I love the drive, but what does everyone else think?

Late March works for me.

Pismo Beach is pretty far. Gualala sounds OK. Instead of Reno, how about So. Lake Tahoe? With either Reno or Tahoe, though, there's always the possibility of snow. March might be a little early, (cold?) - maybe April?

Guys,
A trip up the coast sounds good to me. Gualala, Fort Brag area is great. If you want an overnight think about heading up farther to the Garberville area, staying at the old Benbow Inn on 101, good food on the patio and rooms for about $110. Above Garberville, taking Hwy 1 to Rockport cutting over to Hwy 101 we can do the Redwoods, Standish Hicky, Richardson Grove up to Humbolt Redwoods. Beautiful tall redwood forest, picknicks and the river. There is a very good Mexican resturant in the sticks near Phillipsville.

Later this spring or summer we can join up in So. Lake Tahoe, stay at my place in South Lake and take in a show or whatever. Boss Hoggs does good BBQ and there are plenty of other places to eat etc. Stanley, the casinos are only 7 miles away.

That is my contribution for now. What do yo think?
