Anyone see the new Chrysler 300C concept that is being shown off at the NY auto show I believe? They say it looks similar to the production of the next gen 300. BARF!!!! The grill looks like a bus, and overall, it's boxy as hell.(a la CTS). No wonder why the imports keep chipping away at the Big 2(3). The orignal Chrylser Hemi 300 Convertible concept was waaayyy better looking than this one. BARF!!

On a positive note, the Jeep Liberty will be available with a 2.8L diesel next year. Very cool.

RE: Steaming Pile of Chrysler Crap-o-la !!!

So many times I have lamented the loss of the Imperial nameplate, for sure I would have bought one sometime between 1994 & present. After seeing the "new" desgns out of Damn-ler/Cry-slur such as the "criss-cross" and this Blue-Bird School Bus front end on this here frog-eyed over accentuated wheel welled thing, I give thanks that the Imperial is no longer with us! I can just imagine the abortion it would be! They killed off Plymouth, they should killed off the entire corporation. I just read that next year Mitsubishi will be producing Cry-slur and Dodge branded cars FOR them! They are allready gone for the most part. Dodge Stratus & Cry-Slur Sebring are made by Mitsu, the Criss-Cross over (or whatever) is 1/2 Mercedes, made with many (not good enough for a Mercedes, but still usable) parts ! The make good Minivans, and that's it! Me (and all of my now dead relitives) were HUGE supporters of Chrysler. Owned Stock & drove ONLY their products. Me, and a group of 3 somewhere in NY (we don't talk) are all that's left & I went to Ford and the NY crew went to Miserable-Bends. Phoey on Damnliar/Cryslur

Man were't those Imperials great road cars. I remember going on trips with my Dad when I was in my teens and he was able to lay stretched full length across the back seat and sleep while I drove.

I wish they would come out with something similar to the 65 Plymouth Sports Fury that I bought when I came back from Vietnam the first time in 66. 383ci. & 375hp, six-pack, Muncie four speed, two door hardtop, cherry red. God I loved that car.

I actually really like the 300M, but that 300C is totally ugly!!

My Grandpa Charles drove truck for Chrysler -- M&G Convoy -- for 30+ years. He drove nothing but. His last car was a 1980 (?) Cordoba, baby blue. What a fantastic car. He died in 1988 and the car was as impecable as the day he bought it brand new.

Other than a Viper, nothing but the 300M interests me in the Chrysler division. The PT Turbo is ok, but that's about it. My girlfriend's mom is getting a Liberty next year--ick.

THAT is some Sports Fury you had there. My 1st cousin (female) drove a 1965 Sport Fury Convertible with the biggest V-8 they had then with a 4-Speed stick! The dealer made her pay 100% of it BEFORE he ordered it. It was a Chestnut Bronze/Brown with white roof. It had the GTO style red line tires. She was one of like 5 "car-crazed" people in my extended family. Her Hubby drove a 1969 440 Charger RT and his brother drove an Imperial LeBaron 440 TNT which was the special order engine option for the State Police who drove the interstates with Newport 440 TNTs which was dual snorkel air cleaner, Hot Cam & TRUE dual exhausts. It was the sole Imperial ever so made. He got it because he was the attorney for the State Police.
Today....Today we try to get "excited" over PT Losers with 2 liters!

No I didn't get into that link you provided. I found this photo earlier when I was looking for that picture of the one like I used to have. Is it on the same webpage? I will go and look for it over there.
